Background: Marie started with formal training in ballet, piano and voice. While developing her love of music and dance she added ballroom in 1979.  She has personally won numerous competitive awards in American Rhythm, and currently coaches successful competitive students.

Teaching Style: Marie enjoys watching her students accomplish their goals, and gets a little “misty” when they dance around the floor for the first time at a party. Her background in music assists her in teaching students how to hear the music and develop rhythm in their body. She enjoys teaching club styles and organizing dance events. Her no nonsense approach to teaching combined with genuine caring makes her a great instructor for anyone who thinks they can’t dance!
